iBez was founded in 2013 by Ommo Clark an AI researcher, technology entrepreneur, and practitioner with over twenty years of experience implementing software in regulated environments across the UK, Nigeria, and the United States.
Our Story: What began as a software consultancy serving clients across government, healthcare, education, retail, and financial services has evolved into a focused applied technology, AI advisory and education firm.
Over the years, we have advised on products from concept to deployment across multiple sectors, built platforms including Handy-Jacks, trained professionals at institutions including Fidelity Bank (in collaboration with TechQuest), and partnered with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry on ongoing digital skills, AI literacy, and entrepreneurship programmes.
What Drives Us: We are passionate about using technology for social good — closing the digital gap, building capacity in underserved communities, and ensuring that digital transformation serves the people it is meant to help.
Our work is grounded in the belief that technology strategy disconnected from operating reality is the failure mode we work hardest to avoid.
Our Founder: Ommo Clark’s career spans Real Asset Management, Lehman Brothers, and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander in London, followed by over a decade founding and leading iBez and its portfolio of products and training programmes in Nigeria. She is currently completing a doctorate in Information Systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
